Deer Winter Quiltie

this is the front of My deer winter quiltie, the deer is fused on and the white is felted to look like wind and swirling snow and the fibers are the underbrush. I outlined the deer with sparkley thread and also the white felt has some sparkle to resemble the twinkle of new snow.

Winter Quiltie Back

this is the back of my winter quiltie that I did for an Art4Mail swap, I just made a pocket and made a tag attached with ribbon so it could be slid into the pocket.

Mermaid and Seahorse Quiltie

this is done for a Art4Mail swap, quiltie. the Mermaid was cut out of shapes like a puzzle then appliqued down I added fibers to look like seaweed and hand sewed beads and shells to get the underwater look. she is so proud to be holding the little seahorse in her hand.
